Badlands Off Road Park Technical Circuit
Indiana's premier technical off-road challenge park
Carved from reclaimed strip mining land in Attica, Badlands has been building gnarly technical terrain for two decades. The park’s signature obstacles include the Rock Garden — a quarter-mile of stacked limestone that’ll test your diff locks and tire pressure skills — and the infamous Mud Bog series that can swallow a stock truck whole. The terrain ranges from beginner-friendly gravel roads to expert-only rock crawling that requires winches, lockers, and serious armor. Weekend events draw serious wheelers from across the Midwest.
This is a private pay-to-play park that requires helmets and safety gear for technical areas. Most obstacles have bypass routes, but the challenging lines demand modified rigs with rock sliders, skid plates, and recovery gear. The park provides camping, showers, and a parts/repair shop — you’ll likely need all three. Spring through fall offers the best conditions, though winter wheeling is allowed. Entry fees run around $30-40 per vehicle, and it’s worth every penny for the engineered challenges you can’t find anywhere else in Indiana.
