Susquehanna State Forest Bucktooth Run Dispersed Sites

Dispersed Camping

A string of primitive sites along Bucktooth Run Road where the creek provides both scenery and water access for filtering. Four main pull-offs accommodate 1-2 rigs each, with established fire rings and level ground under mixed hardwoods. The run itself holds wild brook trout and provides reliable water flow except in severe drought.

Reached via Bucktooth Run Road from Route 44 west of Coudersport — 3 miles of rough forest road that gets muddy in spring. Popular with anglers during trout season but otherwise quiet. Gates may close during fire season or heavy snow.
