Sinnemahoning State Park Wild Turkey Dispersed Area

Dispersed Camping

A cluster of informal sites tucked into the hardwood forest about a mile from the main Sinnemahoning State Park boundary. Half a dozen spots spread along an old logging road, most with established fire rings and room for mid-size rigs. The area sits on a slight ridge above Sinnemahoning Creek, giving you the sound of water without the mosquito swarms. Popular with hunters in fall but quiet most other times.

Access via a well-maintained gravel road that branches off PA-120, though the final quarter-mile gets rough with some erosion ruts. No signage marks the dispersed area — look for the fire rings. Water available at the main state park facilities two miles down the road. Seasonal fire restrictions apply during dry spells.
