Tioga-Hammond Lakes Outflow Campground
This Corps-managed facility sits along Crooked Creek below the Tioga Dam, offering 30 sites split between electric and non-electric options. Most sites are reasonably spacious with gravel pads suitable for larger rigs, though a few are tight for anything over 30 feet. The creek provides decent fishing for trout and bass, and the location puts you within striking distance of Pennsylvania Grand Canyon overlooks and Pine Creek Rail Trail.
Access via PA Route 287 to Tioga, then follow Corps roads — all paved but narrow in sections. Facilities include vault toilets, potable water, and a boat launch. Open typically May through September, though exact dates vary with dam operations. The area can get busy during hunting seasons and summer weekends.
