Carpenter Lake — Tyaughton FSR Junction Fuel Cache and Bridge River Store
Sitting at the end of the Hurley FSR corridor, Gold Bridge is a blink-and-miss-it settlement that punches above its weight for overlanders running the South Chilcotin Mountains. The general store stocks basic groceries, propane, and some camping supplies — and the attached fuel pumps are real, though hours are limited and inventory can be thin late in the season. Cell signal here is essentially zero, so download your maps before you roll in.
This is your last realistic resupply before Tyaughton Lake FSR, Gun Creek, Relay Creek, and the deeper Spruce Lake routes. Come in with a full tank regardless — the pump situation changes. Bralorne is a few km further up the road if you need a second look around. Spring through early fall is the window; the Hurley can be a sloppy mess shoulder season.
Last stop before South Chilcotin backcountry.
