Bridger-Teton National Forest Greys River Road Mile 15 Dispersed Sites
A collection of informal campsites along Forest Road 10138 (Greys River Road) where the river makes a wide bend through aspen and cottonwood groves. Maybe 6-8 decent spots with established fire rings, most accommodating single rigs or small groups. The river runs clear and cold — excellent cutthroat fishing and a reliable water source with treatment. Sites have partial shade and good drainage, though some get muddy after heavy rain.
Road is decent gravel maintained for logging trucks, but gets rougher past mile 20. Season typically runs June through October depending on snowpack. Popular with hunters in fall and anglers all summer. Cell service is nonexistent. Bring firewood — local deadfall gets picked over quickly.
