Boiling Springs State Park Campground
Twenty-six sites spread across oak-shaded hills around a natural spring-fed pool that stays a constant 68 degrees year-round. Half the sites have electric hookups, the other half are primitive tent spots. The spring puts out 400 gallons per minute of crystal-clear water that’s been bubbling up here since the Chickasaw used it as a sacred bathing spot. Gets packed on summer weekends but midweek feels like you’ve got your own private swimming hole.
Access is straightforward off US-177 south of Woodward. Park roads are paved but narrow in spots. The spring pool is the real draw here — locals have been coming for generations to soak in the mineral-rich water. Open year-round but the pool house closes November through March.
