Red Rock Canyon Adventure Park Campground

This private campground sits on 40 acres of rolling hills just outside Hinton, offering full hookup sites with 30/50 amp service, clean restrooms, and hot showers. The park caters to RVs and travel trailers but welcomes tent campers, with level gravel pads and scattered shade trees. Most sites have picnic tables and fire rings, and the camp store stocks basic supplies and firewood.

Located 15 miles from the Talimena Scenic Drive entrance and 20 miles from Robbers Cave State Park, it’s a solid resupply point for overlanders running the Ouachita Mountains trails. The owners are friendly locals who know the area trails well. Open year-round, though call ahead in winter as some amenities may be limited during cold snaps.
