BLM Muddy Creek Dispersed Area
Scattered sites along a seasonal creek bed surrounded by red sandstone formations and juniper trees. About 8-10 established fire rings spread across maybe half a mile of creek bottom, with room for bigger rigs on the flats above. Popular with hunters in fall but dead quiet most other times. Fire restrictions May through September typically.
Access via rough dirt road that gets muddy after rain — high-clearance recommended. Creek runs spring through early summer, then just pools. No facilities whatsoever, pack it all out. Stars here are incredible with zero light pollution.
