Paisley — Paisley Store and Fuel Stop

Paisley is a wide spot on Highway 31 in the Oregon Outback, and this general store is the kind of place that keeps overlanders moving. Gas, diesel, basic groceries, and a few sundries — nothing fancy, but when you’re running Winter Rim Road or staging for the Chewaucan River corridor, this is your last realistic fuel stop before a long stretch of empty. Cell service is marginal in town. Hours are not always consistent — do not count on late arrivals.

Located roughly midway between Lakeview and Summer Lake, Paisley sits at the intersection of Highway 31 and the roads fanning north into Fremont-Winema National Forest. If you’re running the Oregon Outback loop or connecting to Hart Mountain from the west, this town punches above its weight as a logistics anchor. Fill up every time you pass through — the next fuel is a long way off in any direction.
