Diamond Lake Resort — Fuel and Resupply
Diamond Lake Resort is the beating heart of the Diamond Lake / North Crater Lake overland loop, and for anyone running the Rogue-Umpqua Divide or the Diamond-to-Crater high road, this is your mandatory resupply stop. The resort runs a small general store with fuel (gas only, no diesel on all pumps — verify before you pull in), propane, basic groceries, ice, firewood, and the kind of mediocre hot food that tastes incredible after a night camped at elevation. The place is busy as hell from mid-July through Labor Day — plan for a wait at the pump on summer weekends.
Located right on OR-138 at the north end of the lake, easy access for any vehicle. Cell service is spotty at best — don’t rely on it for navigation or payment issues. Open seasonally, typically late May through October; call ahead in shoulder months to confirm they’re operating before you bank your fuel plan on it.
Only fuel on the Diamond Lake loop. Don't skip it.
