Chilliwack River — Tamihi Creek Forest Service Road Viewpoint
Where Tamihi Creek dumps into the Chilliwack River, the valley narrows and the old-growth cedar and fir close in hard. This is a recognized stopping point on the Chilliwack Lake Road FSR corridor — there’s a small gravel pullout at the creek bridge, and the river below runs jade-green and fast. It’s a genuine piece of BC mountain geography worth stepping out for. In spring this drainage runs big; in late summer it calms down enough to see the riverbed stones clearly through the water.
Tamihi FSR branches off Chilliwack Lake Road here and is used by motocross and ATV riders. The main road continues southeast toward Chilliwack Lake and the Radium Lake FSR trailhead. No facilities at the viewpoint pullout itself — it’s a roadside stop, not a campsite. Good spot to air down before pushing deeper into the valley.
