Sinnemahoning State Park Dark Sky Camping Area
This 1,910-acre state park sits in the heart of Pennsylvania’s Dark Sky Country, offering some of the clearest night skies between Maine and Georgia. The campground features 35 sites along Bennett Branch Creek, with flush restrooms, showers, and electric hookups at select sites. The park’s crown jewel is its astronomy field, where telescope setups are welcome and the Milky Way blazes overhead on clear nights.
Popular with amateur astronomers and overlanders running the nearby Pine Creek or Allegheny Forest trails. Sites book up fast during meteor showers and new moon weekends. The park also offers good fishing and creek access for water filtering.
