Tatchun Creek Territorial Campground — Klondike Highway

Established Campground

Wolf Lake Territorial Campground sits right on the Campbell Highway roughly midway between Watson Lake and Faro, giving overlanders a solid overnight option before pushing north toward the Ketza River Mine country or east back toward Watson Lake. Spruce and poplar frame the lakeshore sites, fire rings are present, and the pit toilets are maintained seasonally by Yukon Government. Expect light use compared to the Klondike corridor — this part of the Campbell is genuinely remote and the silence shows it.

The campground is accessible to any high-clearance vehicle once the Campbell Highway is dry, but early spring and late fall can turn the gravel approaches punishing. Water from the lake should be treated. No cell signal here — plan accordingly before leaving Faro or Watson Lake.

Campbell Hwy lakeshore camp, deep Yukon quiet.
