Perched on the mesa at 6,000 feet, this small NPS campground offers 12 individual sites scattered among pinyon and juniper trees. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring, with vault toilets and no water available. Sites fill early during spring and fall, typically by noon on weekends. Fire restrictions common during dry periods.
Located 9 miles from the visitor center via paved Upheaval Dome Road. Sites accommodate RVs up to 28 feet, though longer rigs can be challenging to maneuver. Generator hours restricted. Stars are spectacular here with minimal light pollution.
