Well-developed trailhead at the end of Lamoille Canyon Road with parking for 30+ vehicles, pit toilets, and interpretive signs. Multiple trails branch from here including routes to Liberty Lake, Lamoille Lake, and Ruby Crest Trail. Stunning glacially-carved canyon walls rise dramatically on both sides. Popular but not crowded except on peak summer weekends.
Paved road all the way up the canyon makes it accessible to any vehicle. Road typically open June through October, snow-dependent. No camping at the trailhead but dispersed options exist lower in the canyon. Bring layers – weather changes fast at this elevation.
