Pine Valley Recreation Area
Thirty-six sites scattered through old-growth ponderosa at 6,800 feet elevation, about an hour west of Richfield. Clean vault toilets, fire rings, and picnic tables at every site. No hookups, but potable water from hand pumps. Sites are well-spaced with decent privacy. Summer weekends fill up with ATV groups hitting nearby Paiute Trail segments.
Road in is paved but steep and winding — trailers over 30 feet might struggle with the tight switchbacks. Season runs May through September, depending on snow. Reserve ahead for holiday weekends, otherwise plenty of space midweek.
