Indian Creek Campground Capitol Reef National Park

Established Campground

Thirteen sites spread along Indian Creek beneath towering Navajo sandstone walls and mature cottonwood trees. Each site has a picnic table, fire ring, and incredible red rock views. Water spigots scattered throughout, vault toilets at each end. Sites 1-3 get morning shade but afternoon sun; sites 10-13 sit closer to the creek with better tree cover. No hookups, no showers, no dump station.

First-come first-served only — no reservations. Opens March 1st, closes late October when water gets shut off. Road in is paved but narrow in spots. Sites fill by noon most days April through October. Fires permitted in rings only; check current restrictions at visitor center.
