Fish Dam Wild Forest Dispersed Area
Scattered primitive camping spots throughout the Fish Dam Wild Forest, accessible via old logging roads and ATV trails. Sites vary from small clearings near Fish Dam Pond to larger areas that can accommodate multiple rigs. The area sees moderate use from hunters and anglers but remains relatively quiet during weekdays and shoulder seasons.
Access roads can be challenging — 4WD recommended for most sites, especially after rain. No facilities whatsoever, true dispersed camping experience. Popular during fishing season and fall hunting, best avoided during peak deer season in November unless you’re part of the hunting crowd.
