Canopy Centre Swakopmund
Canopy Centre Swakopmund is the coastal branch of a Namibian fitment outfit that opened in Windhoek in 2008. The Swakop branch followed in 2016. It sells and fits canopies, suspension (Tough Dog gets regular mentions), bumpers and general 4×4 accessories. The shop posts regularly, so it’s clearly still working. It’s in the Einstein Industrial Park area on Edison Street.
Swakopmund is the last big-town stop before the Skeleton Coast, Henties Bay, Brandberg and Damaraland. Corrugated gravel eats shocks, canopies and mounting hardware. If something cracks, a coastal fitment shop beats a four-hour haul back to Windhoek. Fit work is booked by appointment, and December-January and the Easter period get busy.
