A collection of dispersed campsites scattered around Antelope Reservoir in the Hart Mountain National Antelope Refuge, offering classic high desert camping at 5,800 feet elevation. The reservoir is seasonal and may be dry by late summer, but the open sagebrush country provides unobstructed views across the Warner Valley and distant mountains. Sites are primitive with fire rings and some established camping spots, though no facilities. Wind can be fierce and the area is completely exposed.
Access via the gravel Plush-Hart Mountain Road, about 25 miles northeast of Plush. The road is passable for most vehicles in good weather but can become impassable when wet. No services or water available — pack everything in. Best spring through fall when weather permits.
