Moha Creek Recreation Site — Carpenter Lake Road
Moha Creek Rec Site sits right on the north arm of Carpenter Lake, tucked into the dry ponderosa and Douglas fir country that defines the lower Bridge River valley. It’s a free, first-come site managed by BC Forests — pit toilet, fire rings, a handful of flat tent pads and room for a couple of rigs. Water comes from the lake; filter it. The views across Carpenter Lake toward the Shulaps Range are straight-up stupid good at sunrise.
Access is off Carpenter Lake Road (Gold Bridge Road / Bralorne Road), which is maintained gravel — suitable for most rigs pulling trailers. It’s a natural stop when shuttling between Gold Bridge and Lillooet or staging for Tyaughton Creek FSR and the South Chilcotin Mountains routes. Gets busy on long summer weekends but rarely full mid-week. No cell signal. Snow can linger into May.
Lakeside base camp for Bridge River country.
