Ottawa National Forest Bond Falls Reservoir Dispersed Sites

Dispersed Camping

Primitive sites around Bond Falls Reservoir, just upstream from the famous 50-foot cascade. Most spots offer lake access with fire rings and room for medium rigs. Popular fishing area for brook trout and smallmouth bass. Bond Falls viewing area is a short walk downstream via maintained trail.

Access via Bond Falls Road off Highway 28, then Forest Roads 138 and 139 to various site clusters. Gravel roads suitable for most vehicles. Sites fill quickly in summer and fall color season. No services — pack out trash and bring drinking water.
