Pine Creek Gorge Leonard Harrison Overlook
The main overlook at Leonard Harrison State Park offers the classic view down into Pine Creek Gorge, often called Pennsylvania’s Grand Canyon. The 800-foot drop into the canyon provides dramatic views of the pine-covered slopes and meandering creek below. Paved parking area with room for bigger rigs, though it fills up on fall weekends when the colors peak.
Access via PA Route 660 from Wellsboro. The overlook trail is paved and wheelchair accessible, making it an easy stop for any vehicle. Best views in early morning or late afternoon when shadows define the canyon walls. Can be foggy in the mornings during humid weather.
