Raystown Lake Susquehannock Campground
Susquehannock sits on the quieter north end of Raystown Lake, with 172 sites spread across wooded peninsulas and coves. Most sites are back-in with good privacy screens of oak and pine, plus direct lake access from several loops. The boat ramp here sees less traffic than the main recreation areas, making it solid for kayaking and fishing. Electric hookups at about half the sites, modern bathhouses, and a small camp store. Weekends bring powerboat traffic, but weekdays stay mellow.
Open early May through late October. The access road off Route 994 is well-maintained but winds through tight forest curves — big rigs take it slow. Lake levels drop in late summer but boat ramp stays functional. Swimming beach is a short walk from most sites.
