Dixie 4 Wheel Drive sits just off St. George Boulevard and 900 East. It’s a full-service 4×4 shop with a showroom, and it’s been run for 20-plus years by Milt Thompson, who laid out trails like Milt’s Mile and Slip Lock. They do lifts, suspension, armor, axles, brakes and drivetrain work, and they stock aftermarket parts for Jeeps, trucks and SUVs. They also host trail rides, and the site offers downloadable trail maps. If something snapped on the way down from Moab or Vegas, or you want a rig sorted before the Southern Utah trails, this is a real shop with real wrenches.

Hours run weekdays and have changed over the years, so verify ahead by phone (435-673-2546) before you roll in on a Saturday. Fitting slots fill up, so call early if you need work done. They also run a second location in Moab. For parts you can’t wait on, get a call in first. Have a dirty day.
