The 80-kilometer circuit starts near Estancia Cerro Paine, crosses the Río Paine at a historic ford used by early settlers, and winds through private ranch land where guanacos graze alongside Patagonian horses. This is moderate to difficult terrain requiring high-clearance 4WD and experience with river crossings that can rise rapidly during Patagonian storms.
