Victoria Rock Nature Reserve — Holland Track Granite Rock Bush Camp
Victoria Rock is a large granite outcrop in the Goldfields woodland, and the camping area sits in the bush around its base. The Holland Track has been used since the 1890s, and this is one of its classic overnight stops. It’s a basic bush camp with no powered sites and no shopfront. Bring all your own water, food and fuel. Granite outcrops out here have historically held rainwater in gnamma holes. Treat that as emergency water only, and never count on it.
The reserve is managed by WA’s Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA). Fire rules and seasonal bans apply, so check current conditions before you light anything, and carry a gas stove either way. Sand and corrugated tracks on the approaches can get cut up after rain, and the Holland Track generally is remote with little traffic. Tell someone your plan and carry recovery gear. Facilities, fees and access change, so verify with DBCA before you go. Have a dirty day.
