The campground fills up on summer weekends but stays quiet midweek. Hot showers, flush toilets, and a well-stocked camp store make this a solid resupply stop before hitting the Chattahoochee backcountry.
The park’s real value is location — Anna Ruby Falls trailhead is a 10-minute drive, and it’s the closest full-service camp to Forest Road 218 and other Chattahoochee forest routes. Book ahead for peak leaf season in October when the place turns into a madhouse.
