Similkameen River — Bromley Rock Provincial Park Water Access
Bromley Rock Provincial Park sits on the Similkameen River between Princeton and Hedley on Highway 3 — the natural corridor for overlanders running the Boundary Country loops from the west. The Similkameen runs cold and clear through here, and the day use area gives you a structured spot to pull over, filter water, and stretch your legs before pushing east toward the Beaverdell or Conkle Lake country. There’s a pit toilet and picnic tables — decent if you need a quick regroup point.
The big rock wall across the river is a legitimate visual payoff, not just a water stop. The park is day-use only — no overnight camping. Highway 3 access is easy for any vehicle. Water availability is year-round but flow drops in late summer drought years. Always filter from the river here.
