Shkodër Central Fuel Station

This Kastrati fuel station in central Shkodër is where most overlanders top off before tackling the Peaks of the Balkans trail or heading up to Theth. Clean pumps, reliable diesel, and the attached shop carries bottled water, canned goods, and basic automotive supplies. Staff speaks enough English to help with directions.

Located on the main road through Shkodër, easy to spot with good signage. Fuel quality is generally trustworthy here compared to some remote mountain stations. Cash preferred but cards usually work. Stock up on snacks and water – it’s your last easy resupply before the high country.
