Saline River Natural Spring
Crystal-clear spring bubbles up from limestone bedrock at the base of a small bluff, flowing year-round at about 5 gallons per minute. Water is naturally filtered and locals have used it for decades. Primitive pullout accommodates 2-3 vehicles. No development or signage — just the spring head and a well-worn path down the 10-foot bank.
Located 2.7 miles down Forest Road 345, rough dirt with some washouts after heavy rain. Spring runs strong even in drought years. Treat water as backcountry protocol, though locals drink it straight. Often used by horseback riders on multi-day trips.
