Poteau River Public Access Natural Spring

A clear spring emerges from limestone bluffs and feeds into the Poteau River through a short creek. The spring runs year-round and provides clean, cold water even during dry summers. Local knowledge spot used by hunters and anglers, with a small gravel pullout for vehicle access.

Located off Highway 59 north of Heavener, accessible via a short dirt track suitable for any vehicle. Water should be filtered as always, but the spring source runs clean. Popular with locals during summer weekends, but weekdays offer solitude.
