This crescent-shaped bay offers some of the best beach camping in Baja — white sand, calm turquoise water, and protection from prevailing winds. The water stays shallow for hundreds of yards, warming like a bathtub in summer and perfect for swimming year-round. RVs and overland rigs scatter along the beach under basic palapas, with no formal sites but plenty of room to spread out.
Access is via a short dirt road off Highway 1, passable by any vehicle. The beach can fill up during winter months with snowbirds, but there’s usually space. No services — pack out trash and bring your own water. Watch for soft sand near the high-tide line.
