Playa Santispac Bahía Concepción
Santispac sprawls along a kilometer of white sand facing the turquoise waters of Bahía Concepción. Established camping areas with numbered sites sit under coconut palms, each with a fire ring and palapa shade structure. The bay stays calm year-round, making it ideal for kayaking and swimming. Fresh water is available from the caretaker for a small fee, and basic supplies can be found at the beachside tienda.
Access via a well-graded dirt road off Mexico Highway 1, about 3 kilometers south of Mulegé. Sites fill up January through March, especially weekends. The road can get washboarded but remains passable for 2WD vehicles. Generator hours are typically restricted to preserve the peaceful vibe. Expect to pay around 200 pesos per night for beachfront spots.
