This steel arch bridge spans the Snake River Canyon at 486 feet above the water, making it one of the highest bridges you can drive across in Idaho. The structure itself is impressive engineering, but it’s become world-famous as one of the few bridges in the US where BASE jumping is legal year-round. You’ll often see jumpers launching from the pedestrian walkway while massive trucks rumble overhead on US-93.
Pull into the north or south parking areas for canyon views and photo ops. The bridge connects Twin Falls to the south rim areas and provides dramatic overlooks of the Snake River far below. Wind can be intense on the walkway, and the spectacle of BASE jumpers draws crowds during summer weekends.
