Marble Canyon Campground Lee’s Ferry
This developed campground sits right at Lee’s Ferry on the Colorado River, where the canyon walls tower 1,500 feet overhead and rafting parties launch into the Grand Canyon. The 51 sites are tucked among tamarisk and cottonwoods with paved roads, flush toilets, and drinking water. Sites fill fast during peak rafting season (April-October) as commercial trips stage here. No hookups, but there’s a dump station and each site has a picnic table and fire ring.
Access is via paved Marble Canyon Road off US-89A — easy for any rig. The Colorado River is ice-cold year-round for swimming, and there’s decent cell service from Verizon. Book ahead through Recreation.gov during peak season or you’ll be heading back to Kanab.
