Lost Creek Campground Glacier National Park
Hidden in thick timber just off Going-to-the-Sun Road, Lost Creek runs 5 sites that fill fast during summer peak. Dense canopy keeps things cool, but the flip side is limited maneuvering room for bigger rigs—this one’s built for tents and smaller trailers. Each site has the standard table and fire ring setup, with vault toilets and hand-pump water. The real draw is stepping right onto the Hidden Lake Overlook trail from camp.
First-come basis only, so roll in early or risk driving on. Road stays open year-round to the campground, but snow typically shuts it down October through May. No hookups, no showers, just solid backcountry camping 20 minutes from Apgar Village.
