La Tzaráracua Waterfall Trailhead Uruapan
Concrete trailhead with parking for about 20 vehicles, including space for larger rigs. The trail drops steeply through pine and oak forest for about 1.5 kilometers to reach the 150-foot waterfall. Stone steps and handrails on the steepest sections make it accessible for most fitness levels. Basic restrooms and a small snack stand operate during daylight hours.
Located 10 kilometers south of Uruapan on a paved road that can handle any vehicle. The waterfall is most impressive during rainy season (June-October), but the trail stays open year-round. Parking fills up on weekends and holidays, so weekday visits are more peaceful.
