Halfway — Pine Eagle Chevron Fuel and Resupply

Halfway is the closest real town to the Hells Canyon Reservoir Road and the Oxbow to Hells Canyon Dam run — and the Pine Eagle Chevron on the main drag is your last reliable fuel stop before things get seriously remote. Grab diesel or gas, hit the grocery store a block away, and check your tire pressure here because the canyon roads will find every weakness in your setup. The town is small but functional — there’s a hardware store, a café, and enough cell signal to download maps before you lose it entirely.

If you’re staging for a multi-day Hells Canyon run, Halfway is the smart overnight or resupply base. It’s roughly 15 miles from Oxbow and the reservoir road junction. Come through on your way in and your way out — there’s nothing else even close to this level of services between here and the Idaho border.
