Goldpan Provincial Park Campground — Nahatlatch River Access
Goldpan sits right on the Thompson River (not the Nahatlatch, but close enough — Boston Bar is the jump-off for the Nahatlatch FSR, about 30 km west). This is a no-frills BC Parks site: pit toilets, fire rings, and river access. Fourteen sites, first-come first-served most of the season. The canyon walls are dramatic, the river is loud, and cell signal is essentially zero. It fills on summer weekends with anglers and paddlers, so pull in early on Fridays.
Access off Highway 1 just north of Spences Bridge — paved pull-in, no real approach challenge. Season roughly April through October depending on snow at elevation. No hookups, no showers, no garbage service. Pack it in, pack it out.
Fraser Canyon basecamp, no frills needed.
