Fort William — Morrisons and High Street Fuel and Full Resupply

Fort William is the resupply capital of the western Highlands. Morrisons supermarket sits right on the High Street with a petrol station forecourt — you can top off the tank and fill the cooler in one stop. There’s a Go Outdoors for camping gear, a Tesco, independent butchers and bakeries, and multiple pharmacies. The town sits at the foot of Ben Nevis and at the junction of the A82, A830 (Road to the Isles), and the Corran Ferry route south to Ardnamurchan — you’ll pass through here regardless of which direction the route takes you.

It gets properly busy in summer — midweek mornings are the best time to hit the supermarkets without fighting tourist coaches. Cell signal is strong throughout town. ATMs on the High Street. If you need a LPG fill or a large propane swap, the local camping suppliers on the north edge of town handle it. Don’t leave here without topping up water — the next reliable stop could be 60-plus miles of single track away.
