El Arco Natural de Cabo San Lucas
The iconic stone arch rises from the turquoise waters at the southern tip of Baja California, marking where two seas collide. You can’t drive to it — it’s accessible only by water taxi from Cabo San Lucas marina or by kayak for the adventurous. The rock formations around Lover’s Beach and Divorce Beach create dramatic photo ops, especially at sunrise when the crowds haven’t arrived yet.
Water taxis run constantly from the marina ($15-20 per person), or launch your own kayak from Médano Beach. The area gets slammed with tour boats by mid-morning, so early birds get the best experience. Swimming is sketchy on the Pacific side due to dangerous undertow, but the Sea of Cortez side is generally calmer.
