Drury Creek Territorial Campground — Campbell Highway
Drury Creek Territorial Campground is a small Yukon Government site on the Campbell Highway between Watson Lake and Faro, sitting beside a clear fast-moving creek that feeds into the Big Salmon River drainage. This is genuine backcountry Yukon — spruce-and-muskeg country with almost no traffic on the road. The campground has outhouses and fire pits but that’s about it. Sites are flat and open enough for larger rigs. It’s a legit staging point for anyone heading north toward Faro or east toward the Ketza River road country.
The Campbell Highway is unpaved for most of its length through this stretch — budget for washboard and dust in dry conditions, soft shoulders after rain. Fuel is a long way in either direction; Watson Lake or Faro are your bookends. No cell service. Fishing in Drury Creek is reportedly good for grayling. Season runs June through early September before snow makes the highway unpredictable.
