Corona Arch Trailhead
This 3-mile round-trip hike leads to one of Utah’s largest natural arches, rivaling the famous Delicate Arch for sheer size and drama. The trailhead offers paved parking for about 20 vehicles, vault toilets, and interpretive signs. The trail crosses slickrock and requires some scrambling over rock ledges, but is well-marked with rock cairns throughout.
Gets busy by mid-morning during peak season, so start early for parking and cooler temperatures. The final approach involves a short steep section with cable handholds. Bowtie Arch is visible as a bonus formation along the way. No shade on the trail, so bring plenty of water and sun protection. Winter hiking is possible but expect icy conditions on the slickrock sections.
