Casey’s General Store Effingham

This Casey’s sits at one of the most strategic intersections in Illinois, where I-57 and I-70 cross paths. It’s the last major resupply point before heading south into Shawnee country or east toward Indiana trails. The station offers diesel, gas, and Casey’s famous pizza alongside a full convenience store with camping basics, ice, and cold drinks. Multiple diesel pumps accommodate larger rigs, and there’s plenty of room to maneuver around the large parking lot.

Located right off the interstate with easy access from either direction. Gets busy during peak travel times but rarely has long waits. The attached restaurant serves hot food if you need a real meal before hitting the backcountry.
