BLM Clear Creek Management Area Dispersed Sites
Open riding area managed by BLM with informal camping scattered throughout oak-studded hills and seasonal creeks. Popular destination for OHV enthusiasts with room for 15-20 rigs spread across multiple ridges and flats. Sites range from exposed hilltops with valley views to shaded creek bottoms. Heavy weekend use during riding season, quieter midweek.
Access from Highway 25 south of Hollister via Clear Creek Road. Main road is graded dirt suitable for any vehicle, but many camp spots require high clearance. Fire restrictions typically in effect May through October. Bring water – seasonal creeks dry up by midsummer.
