Big Bend National Park Rio Grande Village Campground
Twenty-five sites tucked into cottonwood groves along the Rio Grande, with restrooms, hot showers, and a camp store selling ice, firewood, and basic groceries. Half the sites have hookups; the rest are tent-friendly with picnic tables and fire rings. It’s the most developed campground in Big Bend, which means actual flush toilets and potable water — don’t take that for granted out here.
Reservations required November through April when snowbirds and spring breakers pack the place. Summer’s brutal hot but less crowded. The Rio Grande’s right there if you want to dip your feet, and Boquillas Canyon trailhead is a short drive away. Cell service is spotty at best.
