Allegheny National Forest Minister Creek Road Dispersed Sites

Dispersed Camping

Minister Creek Road winds through mature hardwood forest offering a half-dozen primitive pullouts suitable for tent camping or small RVs. Sites sit along the creek corridor with natural sound buffering from the flowing water. The area is particularly stunning during fall foliage season when maples and oaks explode in color. Most sites accommodate 1-2 rigs with established fire rings and level parking on old roadbed.

Access via Minister Creek Road off Route 666 – road can be muddy and rutted after heavy rain. The area sees light use except during hunting season and peak fall weekends. No facilities, but the creek provides a water source that should be filtered. Road may be gated during wet conditions to prevent damage.
