Icicle Creek — Ida Creek Campground
Ida Creek Campground sits along Icicle Road (FR 7600) about 14 miles southwest of Leavenworth, right on the creek. It’s a small site — around 10 sites — shaded by big Douglas firs and the constant sound of the creek drowning out everything else. Ideal for rigs staging for the Teanaway country, Alpine Lakes Wilderness trailheads, or the upper Icicle drainage. Fits tents and smaller trailers; tight for anything over 21 feet. Summer weekends fill fast — mid-week is your move.
Icicle Road is paved out here but narrows and roughens further up. Water from the creek is present but needs treatment — no developed drinking water on-site. Vault toilets only. The Wenatchee River District office in Leavenworth is the place to confirm current conditions before you commit to the upper road.
